Investigate ownership relationships without turning every connection into an accusation.
Connections are clues
A cluster can show transfers or other relationships among addresses. It may point to concentrated ownership, shared funding, operational wallets, or ordinary transfers. A visualization does not automatically reveal who controls each wallet. Some addresses are pools, programs, exchanges, or infrastructure; their role matters before calculating holder concentration.
Bundled activity needs context
Closely coordinated launch purchases can make demand appear broader than it is. The research question is how much supply might respond to one decision and how that affects potential distribution. Identify the data behind a bundled-activity estimate, its time window, and its false-positive limitations. Do not equate transaction packaging alone with fraud.
Follow the distribution over time
A static map is only one observation. Compare funding relationships, supply transfers, and actual reductions across time. Separate verified facts from hypotheses and avoid publicly identifying a person without reliable attribution. A token can remain risky even when obvious clusters are absent, because related wallets may not expose simple direct links.
Put it into practice
- Identify pool, program, and exchange accounts.
- Check how a cluster or bundle label was derived.
- Separate direct evidence from inferred control.
- Observe supply changes rather than only a screenshot.
A worked research example
Five addresses receive funds from one source and buy near launch. This supports a shared-funding observation. It does not prove a single beneficial owner. Your research note should say exactly what was observed and how simultaneous selling by those addresses could affect the market.
